NIGC Wins State Awards In 2019

Our garden club belongs to the Orange County District of California Garden Clubs, Inc. and board members traveled to the lovely Sherman Gardens in Corona del Mar for their biennial installation on June 10. Beckie Splittgerber was installed as Director along with 5 other board members who will guide the district for the next 2 years. Launa Gould presented awards won by district clubs at the state convention. NIGC members accepted their awards with pride!

The board members enjoyed the late spring flowers in the gardens including a spectacular dahlia bed. We then joined members of other garden clubs for a delicious lunch on the patio at El Jardin and merrily returned to Naples, awards in hand.
