Trish had the pleasure of photographing a perfect little hummingbird nest camouflaged in a tree in Nancy Pinckert’s garden. It was captivating to view at almost eye level, the intricately finished nest where the patient mother sat to hatch her eggs. Next visible were two babies, their fine feathers covering tiny heart beats. Soon their heads appeared over the top of the nest, and within days, light caught the color in their wings. Spring Beautification Award
Our very own Lynn Shober and hubby Martin are the grateful recipients of the Spring Beautification Award. Symmetry and color are the hallmarks of their beautiful gardens. Situated on a slight curve, Lynn and Martin’s home is bordered with raised brick planters and lush, natural grass. Airy trees frame the residence. June Luncheon
What a lovely event celebrating being together for the first time in over a year! It was a glorious day with sunshine, blue sky, and eighty-six members in attendance under umbrellas overlooking the Old Ranch golf club’s manicured greenery and lake. It was a perfect day to install Pam McCredie as our new President as well as two new officers, Ann Devlin Treasurer and Kathy Owens Corresponding Secretary. Also celebrated were long time members with recognition for 20, 25 and 3
