Fairytale Flower Fantasy Blooms in Naples

Spring was in full bloom at the Naples Islands Garden Club (NIGC) Flower Show and Luncheon on April 9, 2025. Held at the Long Beach Yacht Club, the whimsical theme “Fairytale Flower Fantasy” enchanted all 138 attendees with its dreamy, wooded décor and vibrant floral displays.

Club president Linda Frame welcomed guests, including Councilmember Kristina Duggan—who was recognized with an Honorary Membership Award—and Mary Zerafa Loos, publisher of Alamitos Bay Neighbors Magazine.

Seventy-seven floral entries, created by club members, featured a range of categories from succulents to themed arrangements. Barbara Jordon’s “Secret Fairy Garden” won Judges Favorite, while Betty Hercus’s “World of Fairies” earned Members’ Favorite.

Event Chair Lisa Mauck and her committee created a magical day, wrapping up with a raffle that raised nearly $2,000 for NIGC’s philanthropic projects.
