Dine Out at Naples Rib Company

A big thanks to all of our members and their guests for making our Naples Rib Company dine-out a big success.  Our 20% from the day's meals purchased by us was $492.80.  That total was increased to $703.80 when one table of guests who's meal was covered by one of the participants, decided to donate their share of their dinner tab.  Thank you everyone and especially to Dave Ursini of Naples Rib Company.

Orange County District End-of-Year Meeting

The Orange County District held its end-of-year meeting at Sherman Gardens on March 30, with representatives from eleven clubs in attendance. Each club shared its unique connection and contributions within their communities, highlighting a year of meaningful involvement.

A number of clubs generously donated raffle items for a silent auction, raising over $1,000 to support OCD scholarships. The event offered a wonderful opportunity to connect with both new members and longtime attendees who have supported this gathering for many years.  Attendees from the Naples Islands Garden Club were: President Linda Frame, Sandy Davidson, Catherine Steisel, Lynne Clarke and Trish Schooley.  Photos include our members with OC District Director, Donna Hood and past Director, Launa Gould, attendees, and happy winner of raffle basket created by Trish Schooley.

Naples Plaza Median

On April Fool’s Day, 10 red apron ladies deadheaded the roses at Naples Plaza median. Equipped with their own trowels, rakes, clippers, trash containers and brooms, these volunteers help ensure the community’s entryway remains welcoming and beautifully maintained.  Thanks to Chairman, Esther Duran and all of you who came out to make our Island attractive and well maintained!
