The NIGC Plant Boutique Blooms with Success at This Year’s Pancake Breakfast
This year’s Plant Boutique at the Pancake Breakfast was a standout success, highlighted by a beautiful Green Wall designed by Nancy Pinckert. The wall featured historical photos of club members tending to the roses, decorating pots on 2nd Street, adorning the bridges for the holidays, working in La Bella Fontana Park, and presenting scholarships to college students—a lovely tribute to our club’s ongoing legacy.
A new addition to this year’s event was the Kid’s Craft table, where children could pot flower seeds and decorate their pots. This hands-on activity attracted many families and added a fun, creative element to the booth. Another boutique highlight was the collection of one-of-a-kind, handmade Naples pots created and generously donated by Kristen Fisher. Every unique pot sold out within moments, raising $400 for the club—all thanks to Kristen’s generous contribution.
We are thrilled to share that we sold out of all plants, raising over $3,100 for the club—a new record! A heartfelt thank you goes to every member who donated pots, underwriting dollars, and to everyone who supported us by purchasing plants and flowers.
Special thanks to our incredible committee for their hard work and dedication in bringing every detail of the Plant Boutique to life. We couldn’t have done it without you!
