Luminaria Night

Led by chairs Susan Townsend and Valerie Rich, twelve members of the Naples Island Garden Club gathered mid afternoon on December 18 to ready the park for Luminaria Night. The group worked together to clean and prepare the grounds, setting the stage for an evening of community celebration.

Barbie Barker coordinated the lighting of candles encircling the fountain, their soft glow adding to the beautifully lighted tiers. As dusk settling on La Bella Fontana, Naples families arrived in welcoming numbers. The evening was further enriched by holiday music performed by young musicians from Jazz Angels under the direction of Barry Cogert. The result was a truly special night, filled with warmth, music, and community cheer.
