Excursion to South Coast Botanic Gardens - Mar 17, 2021
NIGC members who were ready to "fly the coop" drove to South Coast Botanic Garden in Palos Verdes on March 17 to "spread out" on the trails and enjoy the spring bloom around the 87-acre property. California natives, blooming trees, brilliant tulips, and an enormous bed of orange clivia lifted spirits after months of "stay at home" living. The morning ended with members enjoying box lunches from the Small Cafe and a surprise visit from Ranger Rick. We left shortly after that!
