Casablanca Gardens - Luncheon & Installation

Our garden club enjoyed a festive luncheon on June 15 at Old Ranch Country Club. Alison Lohfeld used her personal collection of Moroccan decor and her committee lit up the room with a tent, pink umbrella, and furniture in bright colors. Table decorations extended the colors. Members enjoyed the theme and many wore authentic caftans and bright-colored summer wear.

Ann Devlin Snyder stood in for Pam McCredie who was in Australia and welcomed 87 women, made introductions, and presented a few business matters. Barbara Jordon was the installing officer and administered the oath to 2022-2024 President, Deborah Smith, and 5 officers. Deborah, wearing a beautiful, vintage caftan from Morocco, launched her presidency with a speech inviting members to fill projects and committees, fully staffing the club to a 2019 level. Her theme is "Gathering, Gardening, Giving".
