Victorian Christmas Excursion

Tour of Victorian Christmas Decorated Bembridge House:

2 p.m. Stan Poe will provide us a talk about the history of the house.

The house will be decorated with a different Victorian Christmas in each room.

If we arrive early for the tour, we can see the gardens.

Meet and carpool from Long Beach Yacht Club parking lot at 10:45 am, leaving for the event at 11:00 am. Location for lunch Georges Greek Cafe. Tour of the Bembridge House at 2:00pm.

Cost: $31.00 includes lunch and Bembridge tour. Does not include parking.

Guest are welcome.

Payment: Please address check for $31 (or cash is ok) to Marge Hohly. Either bring check/cash to the November meeting or mail/drop off the check/cash to Marge, Excursion Chairman

Lunch Menu:

HUMUS & TZANTZIKI DIP -A Generous Selection of Tzantziki and Humus served with fresh hot Pita Bread. SPANAKOPITES - Baked Mini Filo Triangles Stuffed with Feta Cheese, Spinach and Spices

TRADITIONAL GREEK SALAD - Fresh Mixed Greens with Sliced Tomato, Red Onion, Kalamata Olives, Cucumbers, Feta Cheese, Bell Peppers and our signature, homemade George’s Greek Dressing.

GREEK STYLE RICE - Our Signature Greek Style Vegetable Rice

BEEF AND LAMB GYRO - Shredded Beef and Lamb Cooked on a Spit and served with Tzantziki Sauce.

CHICKEN SOUVLAKI (KABOB) - Skewered Chunks of grilled boneless Chicken Breast Marinated in Fresh Lemon

Juice, Extra-Virgin Olive Oil and Greek Spices
