June Luncheon at Old Ranch Country Club

Eighty-six NIGC members and guests gathered on June 11 at Old Ranch Country Club to celebrate the close of another wonderful year—and to enjoy a rosy afternoon of La Vie en Rose! The event was made even more memorable by Eric Bell and his trio, who serenaded us with the Edith Piaf classic.

President Linda Frame warmly welcomed and introduced our special Honorary Members, Cory Forrester, Superintendent of Parks, Recreation and Marine, and Michael Frame.

Lynette Sewell and her fantastic team presented a lineup of Experiences that drew eager queues or signing up. Thank you, Lynette, for crafting such enticing social and fundraising opportunities!

We were proud to receive several honors this year. Our Roster earned two prized awards - 1st Place, California Garden Clubs, and 1st Place, Pacific Region, as well as the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award. Congratulations to Lynn Allen, Trish Schooley and Nancy Pinckert for your outstanding work!

Special thanks to Susie Armstrong, event co-chair, and Margie Burri for the beautiful centerpieces, and to Catherine Steisel for creating the lovely photo spot. The entire luncheon committee did a fantastic job—thank you all!

The food was delicious, the setting beautiful—but the true highlight was sharing time with such cherished friends. As you enjoy the summer ahead, remember our theme: La Vie en Rose!
