Park Flag Replaced
As Spring 2019 came in “like a lion” the flag flying at La Bella Fontana park showed considerable wear and needed to be respectfully replaced. Once again, Mike Frakes, owner of Tri-City Tree Service, came to our aid and provided an experienced crew to climb the tall ladder to change out the flags. Mike also takes the damaged flag for disposal and ensures that it is handled in a proper and honorable way.
Our new flag flying has been donated by Charl Alber in memory of Charles R. Alber, US Army, WWII.
Hopefully with the return of milder weather it will fly proudly for months to come.
