Winter Weeding at Naples Elementary School
On a cloudy January afternoon, a small group of seven red aproned ladies gathered to pull some weeds, clip some agapanthus leaves, and water the two newly planted crepe myrtle trees at Naples Elementary School. As we socially distanced ourselves, we were still able to chat and catch up with each other from our last gardening gathering in November. It’s great that we are not only able to help Naples School appear well tended but also keep up our friendships. Thanks to Sandy D., Lynn S., Ruth S., Noreen T., Catherine S., and Cathy M., for representing NIGC and helping to continue fulfilling our commitment to the purposes of our Club.
