Summer Time in Provence 2019

On a beautiful June 12th, 2019 ninety-nine members and their guests enjoyed a taste of the French countryside at the Annual Luncheon themed “Summertime in Provence”. Ladies dined on a delicious cobb salad and decadent chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Sunny yellow sunflowers filled the room and adorned the tables at Old Ranch Countryclub. The décor highlight was the lifesize cutout of Louis Jourdan and a flower-filled bicycle basket, perfect for photos. French café music filled the room from a selection of songs custom curated by Lynn Danielson. “Twenty Year Certificates” were presented by Marianne Huntely to Deborah Clawson, Gloria Gesselman and Ruth Gries for their twenty years of service to the NIGC. Barbara Jordon provided a heart-felt inspiration and judges awarded these winners of the hat contest with a split of Le Grand Brut Rose’ French Champagne : Pam McCredie, Susan Townsend, Ducky Caswell, Anita Padgett and Sharon Civalleri.
