NIGC ARBOR DAY 2018

Many thanks to all of our members who joined us for the Arbor Day remembrance! Mr. Wood and students celebrated nature's beauty with poems and painted colorful garden stones for our honorees. Naples Island Garden Club donated a new Arbutus Marina Multi form (Strawberry tree) and completion of the “mow” strip in front of the library to Naples Academy. Honoree's families shared loving and thoughtful words of those who have passed away. Donations to Penny Pines were made to commemorate current members and past presidents, a recognition we continue as a tradition in our club. The event was so inspiring and your company along with the butterflies and hummingbirds made the day even more special.
