October Program

Karie Reynolds, a former Naples resident, presented an overview of what it takes to build a float for the Rose Parade. She currently serves as the Publicity Chair for the city of South Pasadena Tournament of Roses Committee.

South Pasadena has one of the six self-built floats that is built entirely by volunteers and funded through donations. Her presentation covered a brief history of the Rose Parade, the timeline for designing, building and funding the float.
