HOLIDAY GIFTS FROM THE GARDEN

The holiday season is upon us and NIGC members were shown ways we could use our succulents from our gardens to create holiday gifts and centerpieces. Our speaker and master gardener, Launa Gould entertained us at our NIGC General Meeting on Monday, November 13th by not only bringing examples of her succulent creations but actually creating a beautiful holiday wreath at the meeting. Launa has been a member of California Garden Clubs for twenty years, was awarded Gardener of the Year in 2010 and Woman of the Year in 2019. She is currently the District Director of Orange County and Liability Insurance Chairman for CGC and traveled from San Clemente to speak to NIGC. At the end of the meeting Launa, in a holiday spirit, not only raffled off her creations to a few lucky ladies but gave each member a gift from her garden.
