NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION

Once again we gathered in the beautiful garden of Laurie and Joe Scanlin. The weather

forecast fortunately turned out to be milder than the original prediction, and their huge pine tree

shaded us from the afternoon sun. This perfect venue gave us the opportunity to welcome,

socialize and hopefully clarify the workings of our club for our newest members.

After each Board Member had a moment to introduce themselves and to explain their NIGC

position, we all enjoyed a lovely buffet with treats provided by the Board. New members were

encouraged to volunteer for a committee, the perfect way to make new friends and and to get

involved.
